Review of The Killer Inside Me (2010) by Christopher S — 28 Sep 2010
Finally the warped world of pulp fiction genius Jim Thompson has been faithfully translated to the screen with Michael Winterbottom's deftly-crafted noir thriller. Casey Affleck (who is really developing into quite an interesting actor) is perfectly cast, and backed by a great supporting cast - even Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson are surprisingly decent.
A near-masterpiece of hardboiled style, atmosphere, and brutality, this is the film Thompson fans have been waiting for.
