With most of the actors adopting the kind of Southern drawl that I need to have the English subtitles on to understand, this was disappointing. So much has been made about the violence, & it is very hard to watch, but ultimately the film is actually pretty silly - especially the last couple of minutes.
In fact, I switched it off immediately, completely forgetting I wanted to know who sang the version of 'Fever' used over the opening credits! Anyone? Anyone? Anyone?
