Review of The Killer Inside Me (2010) by Daniel B — 07 Oct 2010
Starts pretty well and draws into both the characters and the concept but unforunately ends up being an opportunity lost as it loses both momentum and impact before finally descending into something close to farce.
Casey Affleck is probably the best thing about it but Jessica Alba bone shakingly bad acting does it's best to completely negate that fact. Although if you, like me, think Alba is a talentless hack then this film contains a scene that you might well enjoy although so violently graphic it is maybe not. Indeed, that is something that will stay with me long after the rest of this films main details are long gone.
Anyway, Hudson is completely wasted, Pullman also kind of pointless and by the end you just find yourself thinking 'Wow, that could of been really good'. Either way, worth a watch if you're bored and probably worth it anyway for the central performance.
