Very masturbatory direction and script, sometimes it is so slow you struggle to actually keep up with the plot. This film is really hinged around a controversially gruesome murder of jessica alba's character.
While the scene is horrendous, it seems that without it the film would have disappeared into nothing. Which is quite sad.
