Review of The Killer Inside Me (2010) by Benny H — 23 Oct 2010

Only just gave this four stars though the majority of the film thoroughly deserves them! Casey Affleck plays the likable local deputy come disturbed psychotic sadomasochistic murderer brilliantly despite sounding a bit whiny in places.

This film was almost hard to watch in places but kept my attention despite the difficult subject matter. Hudson and Alba were perfectly cast. My major niggle as I'm sure it will be for many of you is the ending! While it's perfectly matched to the rest of the movie none of the characters seem to have any sense of smell! So much attention to detail throughout the rest of the movie that this final and complete lack of it really annoyed me! Still a great movie and one to watch.
