Review of The Killer Inside Me (2010) by Sam M — 05 Nov 2010
Very dark, very gritty and brilliantly paced. Casey Affleck is one hell of an actor and should of stuck to this instead of his bullshit with Joquain Phoniex oh the hilarity :S. Anyway Affleck brilliantly portrays a man slowly unravelling at the seems and the tension is built supremely by Winterbottom and is literally unbearable sometimes.
This film shows that psychoes can be shown without gore and huge amounts of violence but subtly played and implied through superior acting. A great piece of psychological cinema.
