An intense portrait of a sociopathic madman who is well mannered on the outside, but whose sanity slowly slips away on the inside. Casey Affleck plays his role with a subtlety that is punctuated by sudden bursts of unrestrained brutality.
This is an enjoyably twisted tale and a genuine stand out among the films of 2010.
