Review of The Killer Inside Me (2010) by Corey N — 15 Sep 2011
This is a crime film based off of a novel and also this is the second screen adaptation. The movie stars Casey Affleck as Lou Ford a small town deputy in Texas. At first you believe he will be the hero of the film.
But you learn this man is just a plain killer. In fact a serial killer. He commits a series of murders and does not feel much remorse. People begin to suspect him as the killer when certain clues do not add up about each murder.
But this never seems to deter this man. Casey Affleck is solid in the lead role. Plus the film has a great supporting cast with Kate Hudson, Jessica Alba, Ned Beatty, Elias Koteas, Simon Barker, Bill Pullman and Tom Bower.
The movie was very violent when it came to the murders. I didn't expect that. The story is a bit odd at times but still interesting. Overall it was a decent one time watch. If your a fan of any of the cast in this then check it out.
