Review of The Killer Inside Me (2010) by Monic T — 29 Nov 2011
This felt like a good Coen Brothers movie - only much more intense. A warning needs to be made that this contains one of the most disturbing scenes I have ever seen - on par with Irreversible. But the dichotomy between the brutal content and excellent classical/swing score was brilliant.
How they chose the cast is beyond me however as none of the main characters are even remotely southern. But despite this and Jessica Alba stinking up the screen (backed by her Razzie victory) it somehow manages to fit together.
I would like to see the original with Stacey Keach.
