I love Casey Affleck BUT this movie is horrible. There are just too many things going on and Affleck's twangy voice-over is blah.
Themese featured-child sex abuse, weird adoption storyline, small town TX intrigues, rich/big man in town with screw up son, prostitutes, S&M, small town Sheriff deputy gone bad, etc etc. I understand how separate parts of this movie would make for a good story, in another film.
The violence is hardcore and out of place. The sex scenes are explicit without a lot of nudity.
The ending made me LOL for real. Just don't bother.
