A film that is right up my street but I found it really hard to get into. It has everything I like in a thriller but failed to thrill me and I'm not sure what it was about it.. The acting was great, Casey Affleck did a really good job as the psychopathic Lou Ford and the story was textbook but still good.
Maybe it was the setting and the time..I just don't know. The violence was a tad disturbing, maybe it was that. I just found it a little strange, even for me. Maybe the novel is better. Might need a second viewing.
