Normally I don't think Casey Affleck can act his way out of a paper bag (much like his brother), but he's actually not half bad in this one. Too bad the movie as a whole is disturbing and utterly depressing.
It's well acted, but there's not a lot of redeeming value so it's hard to say it's a good film.
