Review of The Killer Inside Me (2010) by Ame O — 19 Nov 2010
A dark, brooding, vicious and very effective examination of the serial-killer mythos from Michael Winterbottom. A lot has been said about the "repellent" violence within the film. I am not so against violence in movies, but here it was so much towards woman, which made me almost puked.
It gave a deep look into the characters, and it was disturbing, but still it did not gave a strong storyline to support the dark matter, and instead we saw a violent movie filled with sex. And, once we removed the sex scenes or the violence we were left with lots of scenes which could have been cut out without doing much harm to the plot of the movie.
