Review of The Killer Inside Me (2010) by Daniel A — 16 Nov 2010
First thoughts were that I thought it was strange watching Casey Affleck in so many sex scenes. Or as a killer for that matter. It was hard to connect to the characters because I don't think there was enough emotional development during the story.
I really didn't understand Alba's character, it just didn't seem to make sense why he has such a power over her. We saw snippets of the sheriff's brual childhood but it didn't seem enough to really understand the story.
But it was still intriguing to hear his thoughts when he tried to rationalize why he did the things he did. It was extremely violent at times. I really felt sorry for Kate Hudson's character. Not something I care to see again but not the worst.
