Review of The Kids Grow Up (2010) by Patrick F — 13 Nov 2010
Michel Gondry is right when he said this is "more entertaining than any fiction." What an emotional, brutally honest film that reveals so much about parenting and relationships that it's difficult to sit through this film and not be touched at how exposed these characters are.
The human condition has rarely been depicted so beautifully. I wholly admire what the director has been able to achieve here and I only wish more films were like this. One of my favorite films I've seen this year and after Waiting for Superman, the best documentary of the year.
