Review of The Kids Are All Right (2010) by Ernest A — 07 Jul 2011
I've had this movie sitting in my house for a long time (Netflix I heart you) First of all the performances from all the actors was superb! To see these two women (Bening and Moore) in roles that I don't think I've seen them before and give such an emotional and heartfelt performance was refreshing. The movie has many 'topics' that are touched...what defines a family? what is a relationship? who are we really in the inside..and outside? It truly felt like an honest, heartwarming movie...that you see a part of yourself in one of the characters as the movie progresses. I'm glad I finally got to see this movie and truly recommend it!
Rent it? Yes! It's a must watch.
Buy it? Another kind of movie that once you've seen it you don't need to watch it again.
Suggestion: Get some wine ready, and possible tissue ;).
