Review of The Kids Are All Right (2010) by Guadalupe V — 24 Jan 2012
It's 3 a.m. and I can't sleep, so I figured hey I should play with my apps. So I opened up Flixster a decided to rate a movie.
Well I watch way too many movies, so I started thinking what's the best movie I've seen since the New Year? Then I remembered "The Kids Are Alright".
First thing is the incredible cast. Annette Benning, Julianne Moore & Mark Ruffalo. The kids are Mia Wasilaska and Josh Hutcherson.
Our 2 main ladies are a couple and had kids together by the same donor. The kids decide they want to meet their father. They make contact with him before they tell their mothers. It goes well at first, but gets messy later.
It was a great movie, good dialogue, great actors, and a pretty good story. Now I know my boys wouldn't like it, nor my friend Blue Collar Bill, nothing blows up! But if you like well developed characters, with a strong story this is for you.
