A modern and progressive tale lost in translation. The kids might be alright- but the movie not so much.
A tired story makes it hard for me to agree with all the praise it has been getting. The kids are alright is forgettable, super over-rated Hollywood-ized film concerning two mothers (Annette Benning, Julianne Moore).
