Review of The Kid with a Bike (2011) by Riff R — 06 Apr 2012
This European drama is reasonably well made, but I found the story fundamentally uninteresting and lacking emotional impact. The film makes no efforts to tell anything richer than a very simple story, and a deeper exploration of the subjects would have been very welcome.
It'll do for a casual watch, but there's nothing here that is wonderfully impressive.
