Review of The Kid with a Bike (2011) by Justine V — 15 Aug 2013
When I first saw it, I enjoyed it, but found it a little boring and overrated. Upon second viewing, however, I can honestly say that I have no idea what I was thinking. The Kid with a Bike is perfect. Its realistic drama is heartbreaking, human, and finely directed by the Dardenne brothers, supported by a great cast led by the young and talented Thomas Doret.
