Yes it's almost entirely moving stills and is probably pure fabrication and indulgance, but god damn is it entertaining. Much like reading Peter Biskind's Easy Riders And Raging Bulls, gossip and tale telling of Hollywood's most interesting time leads to brilliant viewing.
Morgen and Burstein's editing of Evans' audio book reading is incredible; keeping his detatched and inhabited energy and charisma throughout.
