Review of The Kid (2000) by Barrett W — 25 Feb 2008
I just finished watching this one! I can imagine that I will only appreciate it more as I get a older. Some times the best movies don't have the most profound concept, or even the most original. The idea of a reunion with a younger you is always one that warms one's heart.
The notion of an child suddenly encountering his hardened 30 years older self, although not original, is very well depicted here. It may even make one consider them self in this very situation.
