Review of The Kid (2000) by Bao M — 29 Mar 2008
Obviously the movie doesn't stand a chance to be nominated for Academy Awards; it's just a light-hearted family movie, but a great one. Bruce Willis, the man of action, ironically tends to act better in films not in the action gerne (like the great hit "The sixth sense").
So what is learnt from the film? That "Nobody ever grows up quite like they imagined". That sometimes you would rather do what you want than waht you need. And that you don't always have to be grown-up, just be The kid.
