Review of The Kid (2000) by Lydia J — 06 Jun 2008

I was actually pleasantly surprised by this film. It wasn't amazing, but it was good.

I did love Emily Mortimer, as I always do. She's such a terrific actress and was the highlight of the film, for me.

It's a Disney film, so obviously there's going to be cheesy, cliched puff. But despite all of that, this film made me laugh more than I thought it would. And that's a very good thing.
