Review of The Key (1934) by Sally S — 20 Dec 2017
An excellent, Romantic adventure, with the three Stars at the top of their game. William Powell is the nominal star, but Colin Clive grabs the acting honours, He Plays Andrew Kerr, a British Officer whose job it is, to keep the peace, until it can be gained legally.
He does an excellent job of playing a man torn between sworn duty, a terrified wife, and finding out that his best friend was his wife's old flame.... The acting is superb all 'round, and art direction and backgrounds are so fine that you almost believe that YOU'RE in the heart Dublin.
This one's a keeper.
