Review of The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977) by Aaron P — 20 Apr 2010
Before the Zucker brothers and Jim Abrahams had hits like 'Airplane' and 'The Naked Gun' they made this little film, essentially just a series of hilarious sketches, some of which are a bit outdated, and it is even with risque for it's day, (even some of it for this day!( But ironically that also helps some of the other sketches.
I especially enjoyed the very 1970's faux trailers for 'Catholic School Girls in Trouble' and 'Cleopatra Schwartz'. If you are a fan of the parody form of comedy this is well worth checking out.
