Review of The Keeper of Time (2004) by Morgan S — 01 Aug 2006
One of the most amazing movies of all time! I have never seen a movie that tried soo hard to be good, only to be utter crap. This movie will surely top the list for the Bad/Good movies for years to come. It is so insanely hilarious because it is so ridiculously bad. Oh! So, awesomely bad! I haven't been so entertained in a long time.
The actors are probably some of the worst that are available, and they are all equally as bad in their own unique ways. I think Lou Ferrigno is a better actor than the warrior Bullrock (Micheal O' Hearn) and he is deaf. Tim, played by Alexander Parker, has acting skill that rivals on Jake Lloyd's stunning performance in "Phantom Menace". Udo, who tries to act wise and mystical ends up looking like a complete fool. Let's just say, I loved every minute of their horrible acting job.
The scripting, is also equally as terrible as the acting in this movie. Every line just sounds completely stupid or out of place, making me love this movie more and more. The direction is horrendous as well, leaving me more and more reasons to love this lovely piece of filmaking.
Great movie, if you and your friends get together and make fun of it the whole time. And here is a clip to look for: in the final fight scene, the girl attacks, and in one shot she is actually played by a man stunt double. HAHA, okay that was hilarious, especially because he looks like a weasel-man. Enjoy this film in which I whole-heartedly recommend. (I only give it one star, and not a half, because I don't want it to appear on my hate list, because I enjoyed making fun of it so much.).
