Review of The Karate Kid Part III (1989) by Ryan B — 16 May 2009
Easily the worst of the Ralph Macchio Karate Kid movies. The villains have become (even more) cartoonish, with the new villain a kind of Steven Seagal impersonator. Part III returns from the interesting locales of Okinawa to the dreary locations of the first. Otherwise, the plot is basically a rehash of the original, with even more ridiculous karate.
Worth seeing for the unspeakably awful 80s fashions shown in their full glory, but not much else.
