Review of The Karate Kid Part III (1989) by Blake B — 14 Jul 2009
Ugh, the less said about this unfortunate sequel, the better. The story and antagonists are sadistic, the little "romance" goes nowhere, Daniel-san is older and obviously pudgier, even though in the actual story arc this would be taking place in the same exact year as the first two movies, and how could someone like Daniel-san, who owes so much to Mr. Miyagi, show such an utter lack of respect to him and abandon him? It doesn't make sense.
You definitely don't need to see this movie to complete the series. It might leave a sour taste in your mouth for the whole series.
