Review of The Karate Kid (2010) by Lee H — 19 Jan 2014

I have read many reviews moaning about 'this is kung fu not karate' and yes they are correct, but apart from the title, the film does not deny this. The film should not be compared to the original as it is a completely different story and very interesting.

It really makes you want to keep watching. The downside of this film was the ending...firstly they cut Jackie Chan's fight scene which was great, secondly the chinese kid who was beaten would not have shown mercy and was very out of character.

If the end was revised, then I would have given a higher rating.
