Review of The Karate Kid (1984) by James M — 22 Apr 2010
The Karate Kid is obviously not high art, but it does have it's moments of brilliance. Pat Morita will always be known as Mr. Miaygi. That is not necessasarily a bad thing. His character was wise, kind, and patient. This is definitely a feel good movie.
I recommend it to anyone who likes to root for the underdog.
