Review of The Karate Kid (1984) by Kyle K — 11 Jun 2010
Just watched this again recently. The movie still holds up well over time, the markings of a truly great movie. Pat Morita makes this movie what it is. I also consider John Crease (Martin Kove) to be one of the greatest villains of all time--he is the villain you are most likely to encounter in your normal life, with his Cobra Kai bully factory ruining the lives of the weak everywhere.
