Review of The Karate Kid (1984) by Luke K — 12 Jul 2011
Teachers a valuable life lesson of devoting time and hard work to a task to achieve your goal. Very 80's but the timeless kind rather than "look what they're wearing" kind. Ideally watched as a child or teenager but if you still haven't seen it, you must, even if you have no interest in martial arts in any way.
Don't bother with the sequels though. Maybe the remake if your looking for an alternative spin afterwards.
