Review of The Karate Kid (1984) by Michael H — 13 Feb 2013
The Karate Kid is a heart wrenching story, the 1st half adds up nicely, Mr Miyagi is a warming character and his student Daniel plays an obvious vital role, bullied in high school, trying to overcome the bullies and winning Mr Miyagi's approval.
After that it becomes stale, I wanted an explosive experience but recieved so little and the end fights dissapointed me especcially when all is accomplished and the credits role so quickly, I thought 'is that it'.
The movies villians should have been thoughtful but never were. Should have offered maybe more towards the end.
