Review of The Karate Kid (1984) by Ashley H — 19 Mar 2011
The Karate Kid is a coming of age story. It is about a handyman/marital arts master teaching a bullied kid karate and shows him that there's more to marital arts than fighting. Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita give great performances.
The script is well written and touching. John G. Avildsen did a great job directing this film. I enjoyed this movie because of the drama. The Karate Kid is a must see.
