Loved it as a kid, but I find Daniel to be a great deal less likable now. He acts too much like a whiny teenage girl. It's Pat Morita that pretty much makes this watchable now. If you're in a nostalgic state of mind it still has enough charm to re-watch.
Otherwise forget it.
