Review of The Karate Kid (1984) by Nic S — 12 Oct 2012

I didn't see this film until this summer, and I was left kicking myself for not having seen it many years earlier. This is a great family film and a great sports film. I was thrilled, I was laughing at the humor, I was cheering during the fight scenes near the end of the film, and I also felt emotion during a number of scenes thanks to superb writing and performances from the two leads.

The Karate Kid is a great film that hasn't aged a bit.
