Review of The Jungle Book (2016) by Bob B — 27 Aug 2016
It is safe to assume that CGI has reach a huge milestone. Nearly true to the cartoon version my children loved and still do. All the voice actors were perfectly cast with the exception of Baloo, Bill Murray.
His performance was obviously a quick read veiled with his typical comic persona. Christopher Walken is a legend and an excellent choice for an ape with gigantism. Overall the film as great, but lacked tempo (too much to say about that).
Mowgli was played perfectly, seemed they pulled the lanky kid from the cartoon and breathe life into it. (Good job Neel Sethi.).
