Review of The Jungle Book (2016) by Norm D — 19 Oct 2016
Terrific, even for older adults with a bit of child still inside. Walt was the first to marry live-action with animation. Today he would sit slack-jawed awed in the theater at what he started. Scarlett Johannson's part (& song over Credits) was a scene stealer! Incredible - not a reprise of the '87 musical altho' there are homages.
Interesting that satan-like protagonists in modern pictures have a feminine aspect - "The Passion of the Christ," "Unbroken," and here.
