Review of The Jungle Book (1967) by James B — 21 Jul 2010
Who doesn't love the song Baloo the bear sings? Sure, this movie has a slightly depressing/weird ending but it's one of those movies most people have seen and loved, right? At least I hope so. Interesting fact (that's slightly related to this movie): When Disney made the animated "Robin Hood" in 1973, they took some of the animated sequences and drawings from "The Jungle Book" and inserted them into that movie.
What I mean is, that there happens to be a snake in "Robin Hood" with hypnotising eyes, and that the dance that the chicken in that movie does is very similar to the dance Baloo does. In fact, they just took those sequences from this movie.
Because of financing problems, I assume. Just thought I'd mention that :).
