Review of The Jungle Book (1967) by Ryan V — 21 Jul 2016
The storyline, which barely has any resemblance to Rudyard Kipling's tales, is pretty thin and the ending to this movie is very tacked-on. Disney's take on The Jungle Book, however, is still worth seeing for its great character designs, talented voice cast, and swinging musical moments.
The last movie produced under Walt Disney's personal management, The Jungle Book is often cited as the end of an era. It is definitely the last solid effort from the studio for a very long period.
