Review of The Jungle Book (1967) by Nathan R — 07 Aug 2016
Fantastic animation, very catchy songs, and a great diverse cast of characters. Shere Kahn the tiger is absolutely one of my favorite Disney villains. The way he speaks, and the power in the way he moves, you get a real sense of how dangerous he is. The great part is that the movie uses the Jaws effect and you don't see him until the near end of the film, but you hear of him constantly throughout... It's really cool.
What a great film for Walt Disney to go out on.
