A great cast with a story line written wonderfully for the lead actors. The interactions between Duvall and Downey are powerful and believable as each grapples with the past and present. Do not believe the negative comments arising from the professional critics.
They could not have written a better script and nor could they have directed or acted their way through the movie. This is a great movie.
