Review of The Judge (2014) by Dokalu — 24 Jan 2015
Watching Robert Downey Jr. in a not Ironman rol is quite good, watching him exploit all his acting abbilities as portrayed as they are in this movie. He is an incredible actor, as also is Robert Duvall, and both of them show that in the film. The plot is quite good, an attorney goes back to his home town for his mother's funeral just to find out that his father is accused of murder, and now he shall represent him at the court. It's a very emotive family drama, being also mixed with some nice court scenes. Though, the movie can get boring at some parts, and some another ones you are going to feel that they are not necessary for the plot, and there are also going to be some incredible coincidences, but the film itself is entertaining.
Real score: 6.
