Review of The Judge (2014) by Hfahmy — 05 Dec 2014
Entertaining absorbing movie despite the 15 minutes slow start. Professional acting from the judge Robert Duvall and his three sons Robert Downey, Vincent D'Onofrio, and Jeremy Strong. Melodramatic movie about an evading son Robert Downey who became a good lawyer despite his far from ethical life, and his father Robert Duvall who has a judgement derailed by his love for his evading son.
The storyline revolves about the family fate deeply hurt by, Robert Downey, the son who flew away from family and probable love. The family reunites again when the mother dies and the father is accused of hit and run killing.
The past is revived, and the humanly true feelings are uncovered. An acting game that is not to be missed, the movie isn't though a box office magnet.
