Review of The Judge (2014) by Fantasy — 10 Oct 2014
Would it shock you to learn that the professionals critics got it all wrong? I saw The Judge today with a packed theater as it was sold out. Robert Downey Jr. and Rober Duvall were absolutely brilliant as they played themselves basically.
The supporting cast was outstanding. You sat on the edge of your seat listening to the back and forth barbs as you soon realizes that both father and son are hard asses and if you look in the mirror you would see the other.
The story was very sentimental in which the father becomes the son and the son the father. It's a very good movie that theater audiences will see as word of mouth will spread.
