The Joneses, as in Keeping up with the Joneses.What a cleaver concept~ Lifestyle Branding ,Family Marketing,Product Placement through a seemingly "Perfect" Family, except they are a Fake Family placed there to sell Envy Products to Affluent Wannabe's.Genius Idea! Gosh, aren't we a gullible & suggestible bunch(We Americans)? We want what others have & the Grass is always Greener........Or is it?
Consumerism & Shallowness have their Price Tag!
This Movie didn't do great Box Office & isn't all 4 or 5 Stars up here on Flixter, perhaps they should have marketed it the way they did in the Movie !!!! Worked for me, I totally Bought it, but then, I might be Shallow too.
