A pretty decent film with an original plot which is as rare as a Dodo nowadays. The Joneses are a fake family of four put together & planted into a community for just one thing, to sell products! They seem to the outside world the family with everything from the latest mobile phones to cutting edge technology & the fashion not even seen on the catwalks of the top labels! This is called self marketing as everyone wants to keep up with 'The Joneses'.
It also shows the downside to this which was refreshing since its hidden from us either from shamefulness or the debt collecting agencies ignorance & down right evilness in their pursuit of payment since some consumers live above their means trying to keep up with their peers.
