Review of The Jewel of the Nile (1985) by Jenny M — 05 Jan 2011
Finishing up on this series, The Jewel of The Nile falls short from Romancing The Stone. Yes, we have adventure but the fun they added to the film was just way too preposterous making the first part of the film boring and uninteresting.
Maybe if they left out the middle easterners on camels with a boombox singing "The Freaks Come Out At Night", I might have not thought as much. The last half of the film was much better, but not enough to save it.
