Personally, I hate the Jetsons AND the Flintstones. Both cartoons just weren't interesting enough as a standalone. But, when they crossed-over for the movie, I actually didn't mind it so much. Seeing each family handle the situation of being misplaced in time was enough to make me want to see what would happen next.
And if they could do that for two cartoons I dislike, they must have been doing something right.
